Tina is considered an industry thought leader and Australian international advocate for clinical trials. She contributes to and is a pivotal member on many Australian and international clinical trial advocacy, policy and neurology focused leadership groups. Over the past 9 years, Tina has built up Neuroscience Trials Australia, a leading global specialised brand making Australia a destination for many overseas companies wanting to undertake neurology focused clinical research. This Contract Research Organisation (CRO) is globally unique and offers clients access to clinical trial sites, expertise and capabilities required to complete clinical development at global standard. Prior to her role with Neuroscience Trials Australia, Tina was the director of clinical development at Acrux Pharma Pty Ltd, a successful Australian ASX200 biotechnology company. Tina led the strategic direction, development, coordination, and reporting of the company’s clinical programs. Tina had pivotal involvement in taking a product right through all stages of clinical development and in submission of the product dossier for US regulatory approval and subsequent out licensing of the product to one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies.
Tina is an expert driver of clinical drug development, particularly in the design, management and implementation of clinical trials and has worked as a clinical researcher and in senior roles within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry for over 25 years. Her experience encompasses all stages of drug and device development in many therapeutic areas and geographical regions.
Tina has held senior clinical positions with Kendle (now Syneos, a global CRO) that involved the leadership of projects and personnel for numerous biotechnology and pharma clients. Prior to Kendle, Tina was a post-doctoral research manager for over 10 years, responsible for a team of scientists developing new drugs for the management of diabetic disease.

Simone is a chartered accountant, has completed a Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance, the Company Directors course, studies in science and technology commercialisation and is a member of the Victorian AusIndustry R&D reference group. Simone is a Partner with Prime.

Megan Robertson is an alumna of the University of Melbourne where she completed a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). She is the current Group Chief Research Officer at St Vincent’s Health Australia and Director of Research at St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne. She also works as a Senior Intensive Care Consultant at Epworth HealthCare (Richmond and Freemasons). She is on the boards of the Digital Health CRC, St Vincent’s Institute of Medical Research, FearLess (PTSD-ANZ), and Queen’s College (Univ of Melbourne), and the Tuckwell Scholarship Selection Panel at ANU. She also works with national bodies including the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Healthcare, AusBiotech, and the National Health and Medical Research Council. Previously, she held positions as the Director of Professional Affairs, CICM, as the Executive Director of Research at Epworth HealthCare, and as the Co-Director of the Intensive Care Unit at Epworth Freemasons.
